Kingson Corporation sells parts for industrial-strength
washing machines worldwide, from cruise ships at sea to hospitals
in the Australian outback. In the past few years, inquiries
about these parts had started to arrive more frequently via
e-mail. Kingson wanted to capitalize on this interest through
the Web. But because of its specialized needs and enormous
catalog, a standard shopping cart would not do.
Using WebObjects as a platform, Merrill-Hall built a custom
e-commerce site for Kingson that made their products more
accessible to a growing base of Web-savvy clients.
